Frequently Asked Questions

I AM Wellness & Yoga currently offers: weekly virtual group yoga classes (I AM Ageless), private 1:1 yoga sessions, corporate and organizational wellness sessions, school and youth yoga programs, and workshops and special events.
Choose the offering that fits your needs, then book your class or session online. You can join a weekly virtual class, book a private 1:1 session, or reach out about workshops and group offerings. For weekly classes, simply register for the date you want and you'll receive the Zoom link by email before class. For private sessions, we begin with a brief consultation and your session is confirmed once payment is received.
We offer a real, rotation-based program (I AM Ageless) — not random classes. Each month has a clear focus so you always know what you're working on. We're designed for adults in the second half of life who want to age strong, feel more regulated, and live with clarity, using accessible practices you can actually sustain.
Not at all. The practice is designed to meet real people where they are, with accessible guidance that supports beginners as well as returning students.
Current classes are offered virtually, making the practice accessible from anywhere. Workshops and community-based offerings are available in additional settings as opportunities arise.
With steady practice, many people notice better mobility, improved regulation, more awareness, stronger breath, and a greater sense of calm and connection in daily life. The goal is not perfection — it is sustainable wellbeing over time.
No. This is a wellness-based yoga and mindfulness program designed to support healthy aging and overall wellbeing. It does not replace medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled class to receive a class credit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit the class.

What to Wear

Wear anything you can move and breathe in comfortably.

  • Soft leggings, joggers, or sweatpants
  • A t-shirt, tank, or light long sleeve
  • Barefoot is usually best for grip and grounding

No specific yoga outfit required — comfort and ease of movement matter more than how it looks.

What You May Need

Aim for a simple, supportive setup. You do not need to own every prop to begin.

Helpful props

  • Yoga mat (or non-slip rug)
  • 2 yoga blocks (or sturdy books)
  • A bolster (or firm pillow or rolled blanket)
  • Blanket for under knees or for warmth in rest
  • Strap (or scarf or belt)

If you don't have props

  • Blocks: use thick books or a sturdy box
  • Bolster: use a firm pillow or rolled blanket
  • Strap: use a long scarf, belt, or robe tie
  • Blanket: any soft throw or towel works

The goal is support, not perfection. Use what you have at home and adjust as needed.

When to Pause or Seek Medical Help

Sharp, sudden, or worsening pain. Dizziness, faintness, or difficulty breathing. Chest pain, pressure, or unusual heartbeat. Numbness, tingling, or loss of strength that feels new or alarming.
Pain or symptoms continue after class. You have a known condition and something feels off or different than usual. You are unsure if a pose or practice is safe for your specific diagnosis. Always listen to your body, honor your limits, and when in doubt, back out of a shape or skip it. If you have ongoing medical conditions, it's best to check with your doctor before starting a new exercise or yoga program.
No. This is a wellness-based yoga and mindfulness program designed to support healthy aging and overall wellbeing. It does not replace medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
